What is the Token Swap?
JIL Sovereign has migrated to the new JIL ERC-20 bridge contract (v3) on Ethereum mainnet (10B total supply). Two prior versions exist: JIL.ai (v1, 2B supply) and JIL (v2, 2B supply). Both are deprecated.
The migration is at a 1:1 ratio - one old token equals one new JIL token. This page auto-detects which old tokens you hold (v1 or v2) and uses the corresponding swap contract to perform an atomic swap: your old tokens go in, and new JIL tokens come out in the same transaction.
How it Works
- Step 1: Connect your Ethereum wallet (MetaMask or WalletConnect) to this page.
- Step 2: The page reads your on-chain balances for both JIL.ai (old) and JIL (new) tokens, plus the swap contract's reserve and deadline.
- Step 3: Approve the swap contract to transfer your JIL.ai tokens.
- Step 4: Execute the swap. The contract atomically takes your JIL.ai tokens and sends you an equal amount of new JIL tokens in a single transaction.
- Done: Your old JIL.ai tokens are held by the swap contract, and you now hold new JIL tokens.

If you received JIL tokens via the airdrop (38 holders), you already have your new tokens. You can optionally burn your old JIL.ai tokens using this page, but it is not required. Your JIL tokens are already in your wallet.
What happens to my old JIL.ai tokens?
When you swap, your JIL.ai tokens are transferred to the swap contract, and you receive an equal amount of new JIL tokens atomically in the same transaction.
Is there a deadline for the swap?
Yes, the swap contract has a deadline of May 1, 2026. After this date, no new swaps can be executed. The deadline may be extended by the contract owner if needed. We recommend completing the swap well before the deadline.
What if I bought JIL.ai after the snapshot?
No problem! The swap contract handles this automatically. Simply connect your wallet, approve, and swap. You'll receive new JIL tokens instantly, regardless of when you acquired your JIL.ai tokens.
How much gas does the swap cost?
The swap requires two transactions: an ERC-20 approval (~46K gas) and the swap contract call (~85K gas). Total cost is typically $3-$10 depending on network conditions. We recommend checking gas prices before proceeding.
Is the swap ratio exactly 1:1?
Yes, the swap is precisely 1:1. For every JIL.ai token you burn, you receive (or already hold) exactly one JIL token.
